GET SET GO!- Why this blog?

As a marketer, I understand the value of content creation. My mentor Ashutosh Kumar Gupta said this to me three years ago-

“Create content for LinkedIn. You will be surprised by the returns.”

And honestly, I did that for a couple of months and even saw the results, but inconsistency took me again- god, how that makes me feel small.

But guess what, I needed more than motivation to create and continue (the biggest proof motivation alone doesn’t work- I started getting leads from LinkedIn in the first two weeks of starting to post and still left it within two months).

Here comes another pillar for me- Sharad Joshi, a great friend of mine and the person I first heard about funnels from. Three months ago, I was down, having a bad day and night, struggling with bills piling up, and then I opened up to him about the struggle. He said one thing that changed how I was going to spend the next three months-

“You don’t need more ideas bro. You just need clarity.”

And there I was, taken aback a little and contemplating, analyzing, and observing what this sentence was doing to me.

I break the silence- “Bro, thanks a lot. Damn, that feels light. Uh, how do I go about this? Perhaps, I’ll journal a bit.”

Sharad- “Alright, but make sure to read this book- Think Straight.”

And I say, “Oh sure, I’ll just look it up on Kindle” (and I got the sample right away).

And then, just when I thought he’ll sign off and tell me all the best, he asks me-

“Bro, have you read Dotcom Secrets?”

Me- No

Sharad- “Expert Secrets?”

Me- No

Sharad- “I’m sure you haven’t read Traffic Secrets too then.”

Me- I’ve never heard the name.

Sharad- “Do read these three books too. It’s a series and you must must must read this. But first, also watch this video- Russell Brunson Explaining Sales Funnels.”

“Okay bro. Great! I’ll do it for sure.”

And I got to reading- started with Think Straight and got great value out of it. (Basically, I understood how I had developed a habit of staying in my head, which was wasting my important hours. Cut that down and actually started thinking in straight lines- this book single handedly helped me build two of my amazing products, two of my finest offers, and ten new sales in under a month- much needed for releasing the debt that I’ve been dealing with).

But, the bigger game changer was- “Dotcom Secrets.” I’d not be exaggerating if I keep this book studded inside a gold frame in my office!

And that’s the same series that told me to start publishing everyday- that’s why, this blog, my Instagram profile, my LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and everything else that I ever publish.

The pledge is to publish constantly for one year straight. Today is 18th August, 2026. Let’s keep the streak till 18th August, 2027 and see where we are then.
