If it's not relevant to your brand, delete it

2 min read

There's something brave I'm going to do today. And I'm going to pat myself on the back for doing it.

So, very recently, I started reading more and more about branding. Both personal branding, and branding for my company.

And then I realised how weak my business is going to be, and is going to remain, if I don't sort this one thing out. Which is called- yeah, you guessed it right- branding.

So today is the day when I'm going to delete all of this. Every post I have written before today. None of it is going to be live on this website anymore.

And none of the content I've forced out in the past few days on Instagram either, where I talked about so many different things that were only remotely related to SEO. All of that is going too, or at least getting archived.

And then everything I post from here- LinkedIn, my social media, my Instagram, this blog, and my company's website- is all going to be about one single thing. The new niche I'm getting into now.

The goal is authority, and I can't build it in five places at once

Because I realised that doing five things in five different niches at the same time is harming me more than it is helping me.

Of course it does get me clients every once in a while.

But I no longer want to work with a diluted focus.

I want to go all in on the one niche I'm starting now. And I'm going to use the same approach for all the clients I onboard inside this new niche of mine, which is engineering manufacturing businesses.

Engineering manufacturing businesses. That's it. That's the whole thing.

And I am super excited to start this.

What happens to everything I've already written

All the blogs I published before this are going away.

But I'm not throwing them out. I'm putting them all inside one workbook, which you can have access to.

Send me an email at lakshaya15@gmail.com and I'll reply with the workbook.

You can go through everything that was published here. And I'm sure it's going to help you, because it covers a lot of my learnings, my experiences, my executions, and the knowledge I've gained from reading all these marketing books I keep reading.

I know exactly what this costs me

This thought is going live as a webpage again, and I want to be honest about the price of it.

I am deliberately choosing to lose the traffic, the rankings, and the indexed pages this blog has gathered over the last 47 days of its existence.

Deliberately. Eyes open.

Let's go. And let's make pumps and valves manufacturing businesses rank high for their target keywords.

That's all for today. Goodnight!
